I was watching a clip, a video taken throughout the process of a wedding; one of an aqquaintance's. Though it was edited to a 3 minute - long clip, accompanied by the song "Journey" (pleasantly similar to the one i have on my blog), it was anything but bland. It showed the beautiful union of 2 souls, so in love with each other, they were ready to spend the rest of their lives, together. For better, for worse. In sickness, and in health. I felt a tight squeeze in my heart, a little tear ready to form in my eyes. Their bliss, took me victim i guess. It made me hope and wish that someday, i too, would experience the happiness, the rush and the bliss of it all. With him, the man i love, of course. =) Nerve wrecking as it usually is, Weddings ARE symbolic events afterall. It marks the beginning, a new lease of life for two mere mortals, in search of a love, future and life ahead that's far more enriching than anything they have ever experienced, and any day they have ever lived through. I wish for happiness and everlasting bliss, to everyone in love. And even more, to the only one i love. |
