This weekend did NOT start off well. At all. Yesterday, amidst all the chaos, with like a billion people calling, last minute inconsiderate people's ad submissions, and having to put up SAT, SUN, and MON's ads all in a day before the cut-off time at 6pm. And it seriously didnt help that CATS hotline was as usual, jam packed,called multiple times and held on the line for like more than half an hr each time, only to realise i couldnt get through, STILL. And Fred couldn't make it on time back to the office to approve the ads. SO we had to do it over the phone, fast game. Then for Le Grande Finale. I bloody hell left out a portion of Sun's ads, worst still , LANDED property. Which, can be considered, the MOST important of all the different property ads that we put up. a clipping of 9 ads. all clipped together. NINE!!!?!?!? shit. OMG i really can't believe how bloody careless i was to have mixed that portion up with Friday's already put-up ads. Then tried to call in this mornin to rush in and try to fix the rut i got myself into, only to realise they could no longer take in ads for sun. Knew i was screwed. Called Tracy to tell and also to apologise for what happened, got F-ed by her BLOODY BIG TIME. i then called one by one, the people whose ads were supposed to be put up. Thank God, they were all so nice about it. But still, its crucial cuz we do depend on the ads for enquiries, for sales. Craps what is wrong with me lately !?!? I seriously can't believe i screwed up this time. Now i really know that SHIT really does happen, and it is literally SHIT-like. I feel damn bad for makin a mistake, at the expense of others' stuff. Maybe the trip to HK will do me more than just a bit of good. I think i've been thinking too much, too stressed of late. Sighs. I could use a hug from you now, baby. |
